Michelle Alcantara's Biography
I have a brother named Christian and a mom and dad. In my free time I study a lot because in the future I want to become a successful doctor. When my brother said he wanted to learn taekwondo he got me interested in learning taekwondo too. I stayed in taekwondo because I saw a lot of black belts who were in a demo team when I was a white belt doing some strange movements that really blew me away and influenced me to continue taekwondo to become as good as that whole demo team.
I think the most influential people for my taekwondo success would have to be my parents. They drove me to every practice and they encouraged me. But most importantly they paid for it. Taekwondo helped me become a better person because if I didn’t know the academy tenets my life as a young girl wouldn’t be as calm as I am now. The tenets helped calm my whole life down making me happy inside.
My goal after achieving my 1st dan is to train hard to achieve my 2nd dan and help out the instructors teaching class.
